About Us

A team of seasoned professionals established IME Connect. Our experience encompasses many industries, serving companies ranging from Fortune 500 to small independent companies. Our goal is to continue to be above the rest in customer service while delivering the successful execution of incentives, meetings, and events time and time again.

Our staff of skilled meeting planners and travel professionals operate with the same goal in mind: to deliver the incentive, meeting, or event that goes beyond what you expect. Each one of our associates goes above and beyond to ensure success and satisfaction on every program.  We know that success lies in the details.

our history

After graduating Syracuse University, Steve Some began his career in marketing and works at growing the family business.

As the corporate incentive business grew, the company is renamed to Group Travel Incentives and moves their headquarters to East Hanover, NJ.

Carrie Naylor joins GTI as a meeting planner and worked her way up to Account Executive and then to Vice President.  She brings experience working in all aspects of travel, sales administration, and operations management for incentive and meeting programs.

GTI becomes Incentive Connections Inc. (ICI) and relocates to Parsippany, NJ. Under Steve’s guidance as President of Incentive Connections Inc., the business grew to become a successful and respected travel organization.

After growing her career in the travel industry, Tammy Capman joins ICI as part of the air team and worked her way up to Vice President.

Helen Udall joins ICI.  Her ability to be able to integrate her financial skills with her passion to provide great programs and service for her clients became a winning formula.

Steve Some leads the logistical planning for the MPI Award winning launches of Forest Laboratories Lexapro (2002).

ICI is acquired by Navigant Performance Group (NPG), the meeting planning and incentive division of Navigant Int'l.  The acquisition doubles the size of NPG and results in office locations in Marlboro MA, Parsippany NJ and Minneapolis, MN.  Steve is President managing day-to-day operations and developing new business. Carrie Naylor-Kraus is VP of Sales.   Steve wins another MPI award for the launch of Forest Laboratories’ Namenda.

Carlson Companies acquires TQ3 Navigant Performance Group, and the office becomes part of the Carlson Marketing Worldwide division.

With aspirations to become a global leader in loyalty management, Aimia acquired several loyalty assets including Carlson Marketing.  Steve, Tammy, Carrie, and Helen along with the Meeting and Incentive Planning Team continue their successful operation from the Parsippany, NJ office.

Steve Some, Tammy Capman, Carrie Naylor Kraus, and Helen Udall amicably separate from Aimia and IME Connect is formed.  The owners of the company are directly involved in the success of their client programs – it is a sales-driven ownership.

M-Plus Global Events, a leading travel and event management company based in Salt Lake City, acquires IME Connect which operates as a separate business unit.

Steve continues his role as President and is responsible for its overall strategy, mission, and direction.  As Vice Presidents, Tammy supervises the Operations and Air Team, Carrie heads Procurement and Client Relations, and Helen oversees Financial Operations and Reporting.
